Who will be Crowned 2009 Ms Motosuit Motocross Series Rider of the Year ?

The 2009 MS Motosuit Motocross Series marked a history in motocross racing with a total of seventeen Legs held in the Visayas and Mindanao area.
The last and final leg was held last December 28 in the town of San Fernando Cebu, dubbed as the “Mayor Nenneth Reluya Motocross Challenge”.
Top riders from different category cement its hold to win the respective titles. Jonjon Adlawan of PSR Racing garnered 490 points to lead the Expert category way ahead from the second placer Juvenille Abellar with 310 points while Clark Wagas settled for the third position with 238 points.
Juvenille Abellar topped in the Intermediate Category with 448 points leaving behind Weng Yapparcon with 388 points and Clark Wagas garnering 358 points. John Flores once again proved that he still is the king in the Novice Open Production with 489 points way beyond from second placer Dongkey Sanchez with 278 points, but Sanchez leads in three divisions in the Beginners Open Production, Local Enduro and Novice Enduro .
Siegfred Ornopia of Keiz BJ Racing 2008 Rider of the Year, proved that he is so strong in the Executive A category with a whooping 613 points over-all followed by Nonoy Reluya of NR Racing with 349 points, while in the Executive B Category Jun Enriquez of Quickflight Racing is the over-all leader with 424 points. In the Executive C Category it was a tough and close fight between 2008 Executive C Champion Butch Flores and Dr. Felipe Montejo of Keiz BJ Racing, leading only for 4 points Montejo coveted the over-all championship crown in his division with 346 points, Flores only settled for second with 342 points.
In the pewee below 7 category, BJ Pepito of Daan Bantayan won in the over-all with 300 points, Ken Ornopia is in second place with 276 points while Keizer Ornopia landed 3rd place with 222 points.
Brylle Ornopia despite his injury during the 16th leg held in Carcar City and was not able to participate in the last and final round is still the undisputed Champion in the Mini Class Division with 561 over-all points.
Mr. Lou Ornopia Big Boss of MS Motosuit Motocross Series says that the “2009 Rider of the Year Award” is to be announced during the Awarding ceremonies this month, “We will announce the Rider of the Year Awardee in the awarding ceremony, we are still looking for a venue for the warding rites”, Ornopia said while he is looking for a good venue of this event “ This is also one way of thanking the riders and different organizers for the success of all of the motocross events held last year”’ he added. He also thanked Castrol Power One for the undying support in making the 2009 MS Motosuit Motocross Series a big success.. ROP
